Welcome to roaming roosters
Our business in meat stretches over three generations and began over 30 years ago with a small butcher's shop in the heart of Pendle, Lancashire. From day one we have prided ourselves in providing local, high quality free range beef, pork, lamb and chicken, sourced from our own stock and local farmers who uphold the same standards of meat production as we do. As our title 'roaming roosters' suggests, our animals are free to roam, living a happy, lively existence, feeding naturally in the Lancashire countryside. More about us

 | Beef
All our free range beef is naturally reared, grazing through the summer months on the hills of Pendle. We have been moving more towards Aberdeen Angus with a better fat covering and more marbling within the meat to give a finer produce when cooked. We supply a wide range of cuts, topside, ribs, silverside, sirloin, fillet, rump, T bone, rib eye, mince and more |

If you are wanting to buy free range lamb naturally reared on moor and pasture and have the peace of mind knowing how your lamb was farmed and exactly where it has come from then you are in the right place ! All popular cuts - lamb leg, shoulder, rack of lamb, lamb chops, lamb steaks, lamb burgers and more. |

For our pork we only use free range Gloucester old spots. Using this traditional breed means we achieve traditional flavours, unlike the conventional pork of today. We supply a selection of pork joints, chops, steaks, pork sausage, bacon |

Here at roaming roosters we pride ourselves on our high class free range chickens, which are all reared on site. As our name suggests, this is where it all began.
All our chickens are able to roam free, eating whatever they can find amongst the hills of the Pendle countryside. |

A variety of meat boxes containing, pork, beef, lamb and chicken are perfect for storing in your freezer. Our BBQ Box is perfect for entertaining, or just for the family. Our Large Meat Box is for those who love a bargain and have plenty of storage space. The Breakfast Box provides a traditional fry up for up to 4. Our Weekly Meat Box provides the ideal opportunity to sample some of Pendle’s finest free range meat, direct to your door. |

All our own sausages and burgers are made using the same free range meat that you see throughout the site.
Our range includes pork, beef, Cumberland, farmhouse, pork and black pudding, pork and beer, lamb and apricot, beef and tomato, pork with cheese and pickle sausages. Original beef, chilli beef, pork and apple, lamb and mint burgers. |
